Poultices Are Not Just for Stone

A poultice is a chemical mixed with an absorbent material that is applied to a stone or other materials. A poultice can be used on surfaces other than stone. Poultices can be used on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, brick, wood, and even fabric. A poultice can be sued on Mexican tile, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, cultured marble, CORIAN, etc.

However, it is important to note that the type of poultice and the method of application may vary depending on the surface and the type of stain being removed. Always test first for compatibility.

TIP: Poultice powders work very well for removing oil spots from concrete driveways. Use a poultice powder and a good degreaser, apply to the oil and it should remove a lot of the oil.
