What about polishing edges on a granite floor. Do you have any suggestions?

The same problems with edges on marble also apply to granite. See question #62. Try to avoid edges when polishing grnite, it can be very time consuming and very hard work.

It may prove difficult to feather into the edge when polishing granite. If you experience this problem it will be necessary to work the edges with a hand machine equipped with a lead and felt wheel. In other words, work the floor and feather into the edge, but when complete you will need to polish the edge with your hand machine.
