Where to locate Rainbow Sandstone
Q. I am trying to learn more about Rainbow sandstone for a bathroom floor. We can get some tile that is 1" thick but I wonder if thinner sandstone is available, and is thinner okay to use? I only can find suppliers from India; very little on the internet in the US. How do I go about getting a small amount?
A. Your best bet would be to visit some stone suppliers and check with them. For information on suppliers near you, contact us. The thickness will vary depending on the type of sandstone. Some sandstone cannot be cut too thin since it can fall apart, but there are several types available.
