Every time I hone and polish a marble floor I get a great shine but the floor looks like its wavy and has a rolling pattern to it. Is there any way to eliminate this wavy look?

The wavy pattern you are describing is usually caused by honing with diamonds that are too flexible. Most of the time there is a flexible cushion where the diamonds attach to the drive pad. The diamonds float over the floor and do not hone the floor flat but instead follow the contours of the floor. To avoid this wave you will need to attach the diamonds to a more ridged backing. Purchase a new drive plate that is ridged.
You can also construct your own drive pad using heavy duty plastic cut to the size of your drive block. Apply an industrial grade Velcro to both sides of the plastic.
