For some reason white thassos marble is very sensitive to the recrystallization process and quite often it will turn yellow. It may be that you applied the recrystallization too soon after honing. Recrystallization should only be performed on marble that is dry. Any moisture will cause problems, such as yellowing.
You might be able to correct then yellowing by powder polishing the floor with a standard polishing powder. If powders do not work then you will need to rehone the floor.
TIP Before recrystallizing a white thassos marble try powder polishing first, allow 24 hours to dry, then apply a light application of recrystallization. It may also be helpful to avoid the use of steel wool. Try using a hogs hair pad instead or a 3M synthetic pad.
