Can the recrystallization process be used to maintain granite surfaces?

Recrystallization has been used to maintain granite and can prove very successful. However, when recrystallizing granite you are not reacting the recrystallization with the granite. The reaction taking place is simply placing a thin wax like coating on the surface. Remember do not over apply the recrystallization process and use only when necessary.

TIP To date the reaction that the recrystallization process has on granite surfaces is unknown. Use extreme caution if you decided to use this process on granite.
