I ground an agglomerate tile floor and it has all these tiny pin holes in it. I can’t find anything to fill these pin holes. Any suggestions?

Some agglomerate tiles are poorly manufactured and will have tiny air holes which open up when ground. This most likely what happened in this case. These tiny holes are so small that it is difficult to get grout and polyester to flow into them. To fill you will need to get a special thin polyester. These thin polyesters are called penetrating glues or skinny glues. Contact one of the stone suppliers in the resource directory at the end of this book for further info.

TIP A very thin grout mixture may also work. Mix the grout with water until you get a consistency that will flow into the pinholes. Work the grout with a grout float and press it into the holes. Allow at least 48 hours for the grout to dry.
