Why You Should Apply Impregnator to Stone When It's Dry

The stone should be completely dry for the sealer to work at its best. If the stone is still wet the sealer will not penetrate areas were water is present and therefore that portion of the stone will be unsealed. If the stone has some moisture(damp), the impregnator may have some effect but I would recommend re-applying after stone has had time to dry.

CAUTION If an impregnator is applied to a wet surface it may cause spotting due to the scattered penetration. If this occurs it may be very difficult to repair.
