What daily cleaners are available for my stone?

Q: I’m trying to determine what products to purchase for a travertine shower with pepple floor, and a marble countertop. How often is stone-safe cleanser intended to be used? And what is the difference between pH neutral cleaner and other stone cleaning solutions? And do all of these products also clean the grout lines? With the pepple shower floor there is alot of grout, and in just a couple months I can tell there is soap film build-up. The floor just looks very whiteish. Thanks!

A: A convenient, ready-to-use stone-safe spray cleaner can be used daily on everything including glass and mirrors near the stone. Some cleaners are designed specifically to reduce, remove and prevent soap film buildup and should be used as a routine cleaner for your bath and shower, will work great on your grout, and will protect against further soap film build up as it is used regularly. (By the way, if you ever do get a heavy build-up of soap film, try a soap film remover for natural stone, available at Stone Care Central.)

The pH neutral cleaner is an excellent cleaner for your stone floors. (But it can also be diluted and used as a spray cleaner.) Pros and homeowners alike use it and love it.
