Do not use ammonia by itself, because it can actually cause the stain to set in permanently. If the stain persists, apply a poultice. Your poultice ingredients will be a dry ingredient like poultice powder, diatomaceous earth, or flour mix with 35% hydrogen peroxide, which you can find at a beauty supply store.
